ABOUT THE BOYS' BRIGADE, NIGERIA.

The Boys’ Brigade is an International, Interdenominational, Voluntary and Uniformed Christian Youth Organisation. It is the first uniformed Youth Organisation to be founded world-wide. It is the first to be established and registered in Nigeria in 1908. We continue to blaze the trail among all youth organisations in Nigeria today!

In this modern age, there are people who are not well informed about the noble ideals of our Organisation. In addition to this is what seems to have been a case of mistaken identity from the part of a section of our Nigerian public who erroneously believes that the different sets of Band Boys, who are usually dressed in mufti and who go about performing at social ceremonies are Boys’ Brigade members.

You are, therefore, encouraged to search through this site to be more enlightened about us, especially if you are not yet part of us. The site contains useful information and briefs about The Boys’ Brigade organisation, The Boys’ Brigade in Nigeria, our ideals, method, objectives, and so on: It explains fundamental issues about our organisation, highlights of what we stand for; what we identify with; why and how we are relevant to the public, to the country, to the Church of God and to Nigerian youths.

Here, we provide our profile, the quality of our leaders and our contributions toward building a strong and united Country of ours, Nigeria. It explains it all about our organisation and why the Federal Government, State Governments, many important dignitaries in Nigeria, respected organisations, Boys, Officers and Officials from the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT have The Boys’ Brigade in high esteem.

Our Boys and Officers in the 36 States of the Federation and Abuja (FCT) are unrelenting in preaching The Boys’ Brigade news to the public especially, through their exemplary God-fearing attributes and varied interesting activities.

Ours is the youth organisation that is contributing towards Nation Building, National Growth and Societal Development through intensive attention on the lives of Nigerian Youths with the use of spiritual lenses from the viewpoint of Christian principles. Hence our training is tailored towards sanitising our land by making Nigerian Youth God-fearing, Disciplined, Reliable, Patriotic, Self-reliant and humble through different strategies. We have religiously been implementing these noble ideals since 1908 in Nigeria, resulting into appreciable achievements recorded over the years.
